Dear NAPCO Member:
We are writing to inform you about two resources that we believe will benefit you. We aim to communicate with our members regularly to share updates and resources that keep you informed about relevant work from other associations.
On February 11, 2025, the Conference of Chief Justices (CCJ) and the Conference of State Court Administrators (COSCA), shared a document titled ICE – Structure, Functions, Geographic Distribution, Contacts (Feb 2025).
The document outlines:
- The structure of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division
- An explanation of the functions
- Maps indicating the regional divisions of responsibility and location of offices
- The most recent contact information available The document is linked here for your reference.
On February 10, 2025, the National Association of Court Management announced an updated Courting AI: Understanding Artificial Intelligence in Courts Guide. The guide is available at NACM Store – National Association for Court Management (nacmnet.org) and there is a cost associated with it. NAPCO is hoping to host a webinar on AI in the near future for our members.
We also would like to take this opportunity as a reminder of our Annual Meeting to be held in Bellevue, Washington, August 17-20, 2025. We will send another communication in the near future once registration is opened and we’ll post updates here on our the website.
The conference theme this year is Public Trust and Confidence. CRA | Admired Leadership workshop for Academy Day will focus on propelling change and the secret to inspiring others. The curriculum will touch on behaviors that help overcome inertia, manage any transition, and know how much change is too much. The second part of Academy Day will focus on how admired leaders motivate and inspire by leading honorably and respectfully. Inspiration can be crystallized into one simple idea: honor others or they fail to honor you. Traditional motivation and inspiration literature focuses on how leaders talk, encourage, and challenge others; whereas admired leadership focuses upon how leaders recognize others for their contributions, translating that recognition into everyday behaviors. This approach offers behavioral routines for offering rewards, encouragement, and praise to your employees, and inspiring them to a greater level of performance.
We hope to see you all in Bellevue, Washington.
