Overview & Agenda

Join us in Denver, Colorado, for the National Association for Presiding Judges and Court Executive Officers (NAPCO) 2024 Annual Conference from Sunday, August 25, 2024 through Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

The theme of the conference is “Leading In Times of Unprecedented Change”.

This three-day event is devoted to leadership, governance, team-building, and key issues confronting trial court presiding judges, court executive officers, and their leadership teams, whether they serve in unified, general, or limited jurisdiction courts.

The conference’s welcome reception will be Sunday evening.

On Monday there will be an interactive Trial Court Leadership Academy Day. During this engaging Academy Day, attendees will delve into the characteristics, values, and communication styles of changing times. Attendees will learn how to bridge generational gaps, foster collaboration, and leverage the strengths of employees to improve workplace dynamics and decision-making. Through case studies, group discussions, and hands-on exercises, participants will leave with actionable insights to navigate the ever-changing landscape of court environments, drive innovation, and cultivate leadership styles that resonate with their multi-generational teams. This Academy Day will be a transformative experience that empowers attendees to embrace diversity, enhance their leadership understanding, build stronger, more cohesive organizations, and drive success in the face of change. Court specific examples, exercises, and hypotheticals will aid team building.

Tuesday and Wednesday will offer a variety of workshops and seminars that will target useful practices and initiatives that leaders need to know and do to address the problems and uncertainties trial courts face in today’s world.

  • $700 NAPCO Non-Member Registration (includes one year NAPCO membership)

The conference hotel is the Denver Marriott Tech Center, 4900 S. Syracuse Street, Denver, CO  80237. Click here to make reservations at the special conference rate of $201 per night (plus taxes and fees). The cutoff date for hotel reservations at the conference rate is Friday, August 2, 2024
