2019 Trial Court Leadership Conference set for Minneapolis at New Hotel Location

ATTENDEE INFORMATION

The 2019 Trial Court Leadership Conference will be held in late summer this year, August 18 – 21, a new time for NAPCO’s flagship event, rather than during the fall when previous conferences have been held.

“This permits the organization to experiment with a slightly different schedule in response to requests by some court leaders who have had trouble getting away after Labor Day when their courts gear up for busy autumn calendars,” Gordy Griller, NAPCO Executive Director said.

The Conference dates are Sunday August 18 to Wednesday, August 21. The hotel site was recently changed due to contractual problems.  The new location is the Crowne Plaza Downtown Minneapolis located at 618 Second Avenue South in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The room rate is $149/night for double or single occupancy. Save the date!  Early conference registration begins on April 1.

This three-day conference will feature team and competency building skills for local and state court leaders, and a series of workshops on current and emerging issues impacting courts. Leadership judges and court administrators are encouraged to attend as teams. Judges and administrators attending on their own are also welcome.

Our on-site host for this fourth annual NAPCO gathering is Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District Court led by Chief Judge Ivy Bernhardson, NAPCO President; and District Administrator Sarah Lindahl-Pfieffer, NAPCO Vice President.
